Assignment - S.M.A.R.T. Goals

Your task:

Remembering the meaning of S.M.A.R.T. goals, complete setting a goal and how you will accomplish the goal.

Part A - Review the following goals and change them into S.M.A.R.T. goals.

    1. "Do well in school."
    2. "Get a job"
    3. "Workout more"
    4. "Save enough for university"
    5. Win an Oscar Award."

Part B - Beside identifying a goal, it is important to have a strategy to complete the goal.

Review the goals below and identify a specific strategy how you will achieve the goal.

    1. "Find a part-time job for the summer."
    2. "Volunteer 3 hours a week."
    3. "Save at least $3000 by September."
    4. "Read at least 3 books per month."
    5. "Bike to school every day."

Part C - Reflection

Respond to the following questions.

      1. What goal(s), currently, is the most important to you and why?
      2. How will you achieve this goal(s)?
      3. Why is writing out your goals, and strategies to complete, important?
      4. What long-term goal do you wish to achieve? How do you plan to achieve this goal?
