A great place to begin exploring the different First Peoples of Canada their cultures is the interactive website Quilt of Belonging

Compare and contrast three different groups of First Peoples in Canada. Choose one nation from each of the distinct groups:  First Nations, Métis, and Inuit nations and compare modern/ traditional governance structure, artistic expression, and traditional way of life.

This assignment will require outside research. Be sure to cite all sources of information using the MLA format.

Review the plagiarism rules before you begin. 

Create a compare and contrast table (or some other representation, talk to your teacher if you have any ideas) to show at least five points of comparison for each category: modern/ traditional governance structure, artistic expression, and traditional way of life.
