Use the following template to provide as much detail as possible. The focus here is on the process and quality of the writing, not the quantity. This is an academic piece of writing meaning you are using research and textual evidence to support your thesis (argument) and never your opinion, so don't use the first-person point of view (I, me).

You are required to use direct quotes from both of the stories you are studying and your research. This is to be done using MLA format.

In the planning phase, it is a good idea to start noting where you will include the quotes when you begin writing the essay.

Use the following template planner, or talk to your teacher about alternatives.
