Before, during, or after you read, you may find new and unfamiliar words. You are encouraged to find the meaning of some of these words, as well.

To find the meaning of a new word, you can:

• use a dictionary
• figure out the meaning using context clues from the words and sentences around it
• ask your home facilitator

Be sure to download the Reader Responses and Vocabulary for each set of chapters before you start reading those chapters.
