Verbs
A verb shows an action or a state of being. In order to be complete, a sentence must have a verb.
Auxiliary verbs (sometimes called a helping verb) show the tense of the verb and the number to which the verb refers.ex. do, does, did have, has, had, is, am, are, was, were, be, been, being, can, will, shall, could, would and should
A verb has 4 principal parts:

The present participle and past participle must be used with at least one auxiliary verb.
