Writing is a collaborative process and all steps are equally valuable, from the planning, to the draft writing, to the editing. Here is your chance to submit the storyboard/planner for your documentary.

Once you have organized your information and written the draft of your script it is time to plan the audio/ visual components of your documentary. I would take this time to edit your script based on the feedback provided and allow it to guide your storyboarding.

Documentary Planning

"It’s important to think about breaking up your documentary into smaller segments, just like an exhibit is divided into sections. It will be easier to organize your thoughts into these smaller parts. It’s also easier for your viewers to follow along when you have a well-organized documentary."  Please view the following document for a storyboard template and examples and visuals to help you plan your documentary: Documentary Handout

Remember: These are just ideas. As long as your project is organized, you can create it however you want!

In addition, you could use the following tool to create your storyboard:  StoryboardThat

Complete a storyboard using one of the suggested tools in as much detail as possible. The focus here is on the process and quality of the storyboard, not the quantity.
