Unit 2 Short Story: Revised/Edited Draft

Turn in your Writer's Workshop Tell a Story work

  • Remember, your teacher expects to see your draft and your edited/revised version as this is not yet your final copy.  Your teacher may give you some feedback that you can use to improve your story before you produce your final copy. It is best NOT to hand in your final copy before getting feedback here first.

Assessment:

4 - Fully meets expectations. You have made clear efforts to revise for content, word choice (figurative language, imagery, powerful verbs, adverbs, nouns, and adjectives), and sentence variety). You've applied strategies and suggestions from all aspects of the revising lessons.

3 - Meets expectations - You have made some efforts to revise for at least two of content, word choice (figurative language, imagery, powerful verbs, adverbs, nouns, and adjectives), and sentence variety). You've applied some strategies and suggestions from the revising lessons.

2 - Approaching expectations - A few revisions are evident. More strategies and suggestions from the revising lessons would help.
