Create a Workout
Your friend has come to you with the goal of gettting into shape. They currently are not doing any activity.
Plan out for them a week of activity that makes use of all 4 components of fitness.
- Cardiovascular endurance
- muscular endurance
- muscular strength
- flexibility
You need to design a plan that has them doing activity 6 days of the week (with one complete rest day).
Remember, that these people are just beginning, so you cannot have them run 10 km a day, or have them workout for hours at a time.
You can break workouts up throughout the day.
You get to choose whether the person is focussed on cardiovascular improvement or muscular strength and so need to design your plan accordingly.
Requirements
- Determine if they are focussed on cardiovascular endurance or muscular strength
- Include flexibility at least 4 times a week
- Include brief explanations along with the components of fitness covered
- Include the Rating of Perceived Exertion or the heart rate zones you would have the person working at
- Include where and for how long the person would be exercising.
You must include activity for 6 days in the week. (The 7th being a rest day)
